System Analysis
The Company represents a centre of excellence in the analysis of complex systems:
- electronics: radar, sonar and vision systems (IR and visible)
- wireless digital communications: telecommunications, sensor networks
System analysis is carried out by analytical tools, with the support of simulators. Its objectives are: system performance evaluation, assessment of system limits and its constraints, system behavioural analysis under operating conditions and subjected to the presence of misalignments of electronic components or when environmental conditions make system conditions significantly different from those envisaged by theory.
- Design and development of HW/SW real-time systems for signal processing (FPGA, single CPU, multi-DSP boards for parallel processing)
- Algorithm development and implementation for remote sensing (e.g. SONAR, RADAR, infrared, robotics)
- Wireless communication (UMTS, LTE, WiMAX)
- Bio-inspired sensor networks for surveillance and protection
- Cooperative networks for the next WiMAX
- Tactical networks stealth analysis and jamming
- Network centric operations: large system simulations
