FABIO ANDREUCCI

President and establisher of the company Dune srl, he has, at present, an experience of almost 30 years in the field of electronics. Born in Siena in 1950, he received the Electronic Engineer degree (summa cum laude) from the University of Pisa, Italy, in 1975.  From 1975 to 1981 he worked as analyst and system analyser first at Selenia S.p.A. (today Alenia Marconi Systems) and then at the Fondazione Bordoni. He has acquired a good level of experience in image processing in the visible and infrared field. He contributed to the development of numbers of radar and sonar processors apparatus. During the last years, his interests have been concentrated in the multiprocessing field, with DSP and FPGA. He is member of IEEE and AEI.

SESHAIAH PONNEKANTI (download full curriculum)

BTech (First Class), Electronics and Communications, SV University, India. 1980-1985
ME (First Class), Electronics Engineering, Anna University, India, 1987-1989
PhD University of Newcastle UK 1990-1994.
Experience includes insight into radio technologies and their interplay with the resource management in the context of overall assessment of the network behaviour. This knowledge was transferred to several related projects in the various organisations including ERA, Fujitsu and NEC. Technical involvements covered development of system level performance studies and simulations in 2G/2.5G/3G systems coupled with 3G radio design and RRM optimisation. Furthermore, understanding of Node B and RNC internals to support handover mechanisms and other UTRAN features was also acquired.

Current emphasis is on 3G/4G-radio consultancy focusing on promising Radio Technologies in the 2G/3G/3.5G/4G arena. Responsibilities also include understanding the key ongoing developments in the 3G Physical Layer standards and mapping them to the radio performance studies.

Author of several contribution to the standardisation bodies (ETSI/3GPP) on UTRAN and of publications on international journals, magazines and simposia of papers related to the radio performance.
