REAL TIME SIMULATION OF SIGNALS AT ACOUSTIC SENSOR ARRAYS (2001-2003)
The system, developed by the company, simulates the signals/waveforms emitted from multiple simultaneous targets and received by a two dimensional acoustic array equipped with several tens of transducers.
The signal library includes CW, linear FM, coloured noise. The simulation system reacts with a maximum delay of 5 ms to position variations operated by an external user via a serial synchronous interface. The signals simultaneously generated are transferred to the external environment via an optical fibre using a Hotlink protocol.
- The system employs Bittware processing hardware consisting of two HHPC boards and two PMC, comprising 16 DSP Hammerhead
- The control signals are pre-conditioned and optoinsulated by a hardware board designed and developed by the company
