REAL-TIME ANTENNA SUBSTITUTION UNIT (2007-2009)
The ASU2 emulates the behaviour of the phased array antenna of a modern fighter during the receiving phase.
The output of the system is a set of analog RF signals emulating those provided by the aircraft phased array.
- System design
- Firmware for several FPGA boards for real-time massive computation
- Development of boards, including FPGA-based interface boards, interfaces to drive fast attenuators, bridge boards to dispatch multiple LVDS signals
- High level code for system management
- System analysis and specifications for the Microwave subsystems
